Zebrano or zebrawood is a tall tree found in west equatorial Africa. Its wood is relatively soft, light ochre with dark brown stripes. It has a straight wire without knots. Cut across, it shows fine speckle and can take different shades depending on the orientation of the light.
The finishing of this wood is difficult and requires many protective layers.
